30 India Street’s Foundations Near Street Level in Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Foundations are approaching street level at 30 India Street, the site of a six-story residential building in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by JWC Architect Engineer and developed by Miriam and Ken Chan of 32 Tower LLC, which purchased the property for $7.15 million in 2006, the 67-foot-tall structure will yield 52 rental apartments spread across 42,500 square feet, as well as 3,500 square feet of commercial space and 850 square feet of community facility space. Titan Realty & Construction is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the corner of India and West Streets.

76 Eighth Avenue Completes Construction in Greenwich Village, Manhattan

Construction is complete on 76 Eighth Avenue, a ten-story commercial building in Greenwich Village. Designed by Gene Kaufman Architect and developed by Sang Lee, Noviprop, and Plus Development, the 120-foot-tall structure yields 30,000 square feet of office space and ground-floor retail. RAAD Studios designed the lobby and Plus Design Studios designed the interiors of the building, which is located at the corner of Eighth Avenue and West 14th Street, straddling the intersection of the Meatpacking District and Chelsea.

540 Graham Avenue Nears Topping Out in Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Construction is rising on 540 Graham Avenue, a five-story residential building in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by Issac & Stern Architects and developed by Greenline Real Estate, the 59-foot tall, 21,031-square-foot structure will yield 25 rental units spread across 17,934 square feet, as well as 3,096 square feet of ground-floor retail space, a cellar level, a 19-foot-long rear yard, and 13 enclosed parking spaces. New York Certified is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of Graham and Engert Avenues.

Foundations Begin for 400-Foot Tower at 16 Dupont Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Excavation and foundations are progressing at 16 Dupont Street, the site of a 40-story residential tower in Greenpoint, Brooklyn‘s Greenpoint Landing master plan. Designed by GKV Architects and developed by Rockefeller Group with partner Park Tower Group, the 400-foot-tall structure will span 365,651 square feet and yield 378 units, as well as 2,548 square feet of commercial space and 138 enclosed parking spaces. Monadnock Construction is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the intersection of Dupont, West, and Commercial Streets.

The Huron’s Façade Begins Installation at 29 Huron Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Façade installation is underway on The Huron, a pair of 13-story residential buildings at 29 Huron Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Quadrum Global, the 150-foot tall twin structures will rise from a multi-story podium and yield 171 condominium units in studio to four-bedroom layouts, as well as 30,000 square feet of amenities. Ryan Serhant is leading sales and marketing for the waterfront property, which is bound by Green Street to the north, Huron Street to the south, West Street to the east, and the East River to the west.

ODA’s 101 West 14th Street Completes Construction in Chelsea, Manhattan

Construction is complete on 101 West 14th Street, a 13-story residential building in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by ODA Architecture and developed by Gemini Rosemont, the structure yields 44 condominium units designed by Whitehall Interiors in one- to four-bedroom layouts, as well as 5,830 square feet of ground-floor retail space for two tenants. Compass Development Group and The Franklin Team are leading the marketing for the property, which is alternately addressed as 531 Sixth Avenue and located at the northwest corner of West 14th Street and Sixth Avenue, just above the border with Greenwich Village.

660 Fifth Avenue’s Re-cladding Wraps Up in Midtown, Manhattan

Exterior renovation work is complete on 660 Fifth Avenue, a 39-story commercial tower in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and developed by Brookfield Properties, which purchased the building from Kushner Companies for $1.3 billion in 2018, the $400 million project involves the modernization of the structure’s 1.25 million square feet of office space and full replacement of its mid-century façade with a new glass curtain wall. The overhaul is also expected to achieve LEED Gold certification and a WELL Health Safety rating. Turner Construction Company is the general contractor and Cushman & Wakefield is the exclusive leasing agent for the building, which is located between West 52nd and 53rd Streets and was formerly addressed as 666 Fifth Avenue.

111 Wall Street’s New Façade Approaches Halfway Mark in Financial District, Manhattan

Renovation work is progressing on 111 Wall Street, a 25-story commercial building in Manhattan’s Financial District. Designed by STUDIOS Architecture and developed by Wafra Capital Partners and The Nightingale Group, the $100 million project involves the full replacement of the structure’s mid-century façade, gut renovation of its 1.5 million square feet of office space, and the construction of an expanded lobby and amenity spaces designed by URBN Playground. Hunter Roberts Construction Group is the general contractor and JLL is handling leasing for the property, which is bound by Wall Street and Mannahatta Park to the northeast, Front Street to the northwest, South Street and the FDR Drive to the southeast, and Gouverneur Lane to the southwest.

The Green House Wraps Up Construction at 10-25 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City, Queens

Construction is complete on The Green House, a 12-story residential building at 10-25 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City, Queens. Designed by Studio V Architecture and developed by Charney Companies, the structure yields 46 rental apartments in studio to three-bedroom layouts, ground-floor retail space, and 40 on-site parking spots. AMC Builders was the general contractor for the project, which is bound by 50th Avenue to the north, Jackson Avenue to the southeast, and Vernon Boulevard to the west.

TSX Entertainment’s LED Screen Turns On at 1568 Broadway in Times Square, Manhattan

Construction on TSX Broadway, a 47-story hotel tower at 1568 Broadway in Times Square, has reached a milestone as crews have turned on TSX Entertainment’s 18,000-square foot podium LED display. Designed by Perkins Eastman and Mancini Duffy and developed by L&L Holding Company and Fortress Investment Group, the 550,000-square-foot structure will yield 661 hotel rooms operated by Tempo of Hilton as well as 100,000 square feet of retail space on the lower levels and Times Square’s only cantilevering outdoor performance stage. Positioned above the new retail space is the historic Palace Theater, which was renovated by PBDW Architects and lifted 30 feet above street level in early 2022. The property is located at the corner of Seventh Avenue and West 47th Street.
