Brownstoner took some photos of rebar and foundation going in at 51-59 South 4th Street, in Williamsburg, where KUB Capital is building six townhouses dubbed Wythe Lane Townhouses. Each townhouse will measure 3,800 square feet, and a few are already in contract for multi-million dollar prices. Completion is expected by the end of 2015.
An LLC has filed applications for a five-story, eight-unit mixed-use building at the vacant lot of 410 Nostrand Avenue, in western Bedford-Stuyvesant. Retail space will measure 2,500 square feet on the first floor, and the build will span 10,800 square feet in total. Woody Chen, of Infocus Design and Planning, is the architect of record.
New hotel developments in Williamsburg have tended to cluster along the northern edge of the neighborhood in recent years, but one project will soon get underway at 626 Driggs Avenue, on the corner of North 3rd Street, for which YIMBY now has a fresh set of renderings. SK Development and CBSK Ironstate are developing, and Garrison Architects is designing the building.
Last year, an investor closed on a huge commercial site next to the Franklin Avenue C train stop in Bed Stuy for $19,500,000, sparking questions about the future of several storefronts on the busy corner. Now, plans have surfaced for an eight-story, 119-unit building on the property at 1134 Fulton Street, designed (of course) by Karl Fischer.
