Preservationists have fought to landmark the former Yuengling Brewery complex in West Harlem, but some of the late 19th century buildings may bite the dust for a 12-story commercial and community facility building at 460 West 128th Street.
It’s been months since we checked in on Heatherwood Communities’ high-rise residential project at 42-12 28th Street in Long Island City. As of July, it had reached 10 stories. Now, thanks to somewhat dramatic photos taken by our friend Tectonic, we can see that the 58-story building must be close to its final height.
