It’s been 12 long years since the Pacific Park megaproject was first announced as Atlantic Yards, and the Prospect Heights development hit a major milestone yesterday with the topping out of 550 Vanderbilt Avenue, a 17-story condo building. JDS is making its mark on the East Side with two copper-clad towers on First Avenue between 35th and 36th Streets, and photographer Tectonic recently took several progress shots of the ambitious rental project at 626 First Avenue.
