The Art Moderne-inspired facade of 24-16 Queens Plaza South is starting to show progress. The tower is already topped out at 23 stories, and stands next to the elevated 7 train in Long Island CitySilverback Development is the developer of the residential project. The building was previously purchased from Greystone Development at a cost of $80 million. The acquisition calls for a conversion from rentals to condominiums.

Sales Publicly Launch For Extell’s Central Park Tower As Its Superstructure Approaches 1,550-Foot Pinnacle, at 217 West 57th Street

The future 1,550-foot-tall Central Park Tower, aka 217 West 57th Street, is making rounds again in the real estate world with the first seven publicly listed units now arriving on the market. Extell is one step closer to a projected $4 billion sellout for what is now the tallest building in New York City by roof height, as the supertall closes in on Chicago’s Willis Tower for the title of tallest in the Western Hemisphere, by roof. Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill are the architects of the glass tower. Interiors for the 179 residences are being designed by Rottet Studio.

Completion Imminent For 90 Morton Street, as YIMBY Revisits Its Skyline Views, in the West Village

Construction is now wrapping up at 90 Morton Street, in the West Village, and closings are about to commence for its 35 residences. The building was once an abandoned, eight-story printing warehouse, but has now been transformed into a 122,000-square-foot, twelve-story condominium project. Asaf Gottesman of Gottesman-Szmelcman Architecture is the designer, while Marc Turkel of Leroy Street Studio is head of interior designs. Brack Capital Real Estate is the developer of the 150-foot-tall structure, while Reuveni Real Estate is leading sales and marketing. Sales began in April 2018, with prices for the homes starting at $5.3 million.
