Shanti Ammar, president of Anata Inc., has filed applications for four two-story, two-unit residential buildings spanning vacant lots at 144-16 to 144-24 106th Avenue, south of Downtown Jamaica. The eight total residential units will be split across 10,230 square feet, and Jung Y. Shin is the architect of record.
Itzchak Zivari, doing business under Edenwald Development LLC, has filed applications for three two-story buildings spanning the vacant lots 2075-2079 Edenwald Avenue, in Edenwald. Two buildings will house two families, and one structure will be single-family. Five apartments will be divided across 5,470 square feet. Anthony Diproperzio is the architect of record, and the site’s former three-story building was demolished by the HPD in 2011.
An LLC has filed applications for a four-story, four-unit mixed-use building measuring 13,510 square feet at 202 North 10th Street, in northern Williamsburg. The building will be an expansion of the existing single-story warehouse, but the property is also being subdivided, and at 210 North 10th Street, a separate four-story, two-unit mixed-use building will measure 6,755 square feet. In total, six residential units will be spread across 12,080 square feet, and three storefronts will split another 7,960 square feet. KMP Design and Engineering is designing.
The East River waterfront is booming with new development from Brooklyn up into Queens, and YIMBY now has a closer look at the first building planned to rise at Hallets Point, in Astoria. The Durst Organization and Lincoln Equities are developing the project, which was approved last year, and Dattner is designing.
