Revealed: 1290 Decatur Street, Bushwick

The eastern edge of Bushwick, where the L train swings above ground next to cemeteries, serves as the borderlands of gentrified Brooklyn, just before Broadway Junction and East New York. But that hasn’t stopped condo developers from flocking there, looking to take advantage of relatively cheap property. And today YIMBY has the first look at a four-story condo project under construction at 1290-1300 Decatur Street, between Knickerbocker and Wilson Avenue.

Design Changes at 175 Greenwich Street, aka 3 World Trade Center

Construction is finally moving ahead at 175 Greenwich Street, aka 3 World Trade Center, which will be the third tallest building in the complex. But with momentum picking up across the entire site, and 200 Greenwich Street set to rise thanks to a redesign by Bjarke Ingels/BIG, 175 Greenwich Street has also seen some design changes, and 3 World Trade Center has now lost its spires in favor of a more streamlined roof.

Construction Update: 30 Park Place Gets Glassy

When we last checked in at Silverstein’s 30 Park Place, the 67-story hotel and condo tower had just topped out, becoming the tallest residential building in Lower Manhattan. Now most of the structure has its windows, except for the top 15 stories or so. Cladding has reached even further, and only the five uppermost floors are still naked steel and concrete.
