The New York Metropolitan Area Now Has Over 20 Million People

But in terms of milestones, the biggest story of all is that the New York metropolitan area has now passed the 20 million person mark, with the 2014 estimate clocking in at 20,092,883 individuals.
Revealed: 36-27 31st Street and 38-11 31st Street, Long Island City

Revealed: Condos at 160 West Street in Greenpoint
YIMBY has the first look at a boxy six-story condo development in the works for a big vacant lot at 160 West Street, near the waterfront in Greenpoint. Permits filed in September promise 13 apartments spread across 16,198 square feet of residential space, but the developer, Saddle Rock Equities, claims the project will have 14 units split between 20,000 square feet.
