The mixed-use project is one of several that are rapidly transforming the former industrial neighborhood. 14-Story, 403-Unit Affordable Mixed-Use Project Filed at 250 Euclid Avenue, East New York

Non-profit affordable housing developer Phipps Houses has filed applications for a 14-story, 403-unit mixed-use tower at 250 Euclid Avenue, a.k.a. 3301 Atlantic Avenue, in the Cypress Hills section of East New York. The project will encompass 415,476 square feet and rise 143 feet to its roof. There will be 20,977 square feet of ground-floor retail, followed by residential units across floors two through 14, The Real Deal first reported. The apartments should average 936 square feet apiece and will all be designated as affordable.



52-22 Roosevelt Avenue

Five-Story, 10-Unit Mixed-Use Building Filed at 52-22 Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside

An anonymous Glen Head, N.Y.-based LLC has filed applications for a five-story, 10-unit mixed-use building at 52-22 Roosevelt Avenue, located on the corner of 53rd Street in Woodside. The project will measure 25,063 square feet and rise 55 feet to its roof. There will be 3,062 square feet of ground-floor retail space, followed by 4,538 square feet of medical office space on the second floor. The residential units will spread across the third through fifth floors, averaging 1,060 square feet apiece. Chinatown-based Z Architecture is the architect of record. The 4,908-square-foot lot is occupied by three-story building. Demolition permits have not been filed.

Four-Story, Eight-Unit Residential Project Planned at 102 Central Avenue, Bushwick

Brooklyn-based Rockpoint Group has filed applications for a four-story, eight-unit residential project at 102 Central Avenue, located in western Bushwick. The new building will measure 7,153 square feet and its residential units should average 685 square feet apiece, indicative of rental apartments. There will be two apartments on each floor. Shawn E. Stiles’s S&S Architectural Design, based in Warren County, N.J., is the architect of record. The 25-foot-wide, 2,500-square-foot lot is vacant.
