Six-Story, 23-Unit Residential Building Filed at 1810 Crotona Park East, Crotona Park East

Bronx-based Kodra Construction has filed applications for a six-story, 23-unit residential building at 1810 Crotona Park East, located in the West Bronx’s Crotona Park East section. The project will measure 18,892 square feet and its residential units should average 722 square feet apiece, indicative of rental apartments. There will also be seven off-street parking spaces. Mohammad R. Badaly’s Mount Vernon, N.Y.-based firm is the architect of record. The 50-foot-wide, 4,996-square-foot plot is vacant. The site was occupied by a two-story house until 2008.


1330 62nd Street

Three-Story, Three-Unit Residential Building Coming to 1330 62nd Street, Dyker Heights

A Brooklyn-based property owner has filed applications for a three-story, three-unit residential project at 1330 62nd Street, in Dyker Heights. The new building will measure 3,903 square feet and will rise on the vacant portion of a 40-foot-wide, 4,000-square-foot plot, which is currently partially occupied by a two-story house. The new residential units should average a family-sized 1,301 square feet apiece. Shiming Tam’s Brooklyn-based firm is the architect of record.



200 East 59th Street

35-Story, 67-Unit Condominium Tower Rises to 21st Floor at 200 East 59th Street, Midtown East

Construction is now 21 floors above street level on the 35-story, 67-unit mixed-use tower under development at 200 East 59th Street, located on the corner of Third Avenue in Midtown East. Progress on the structure can be seen thanks to photos posted to the YIMBY Forums by Tectonic. The latest building permits indicate the project will encompass 152,191 square feet and rise 490 feet in height.


115 Chestnut Street

Residential Development Site at 115 Chestnut Street Placed on Market, Newark, N.J.

Property owner Chestnut Global Enterprises has placed the development site at 115 Chestnut Street, located on the corner of Hermon Street in Newark’s Ironbound district, on the market for $3.96 million, Jersey Digs reported. Plans for a five-story, 72-unit residential building, called Vesey Street Commons, are fully approved. The apartments would range from one- to two-bedrooms, if a new developer were to follow the latest permits. The 28,988-square-foot plot is currently vacant. Until roughly a decade ago, it was occupied by an industrial building utilized by the Wilson Imperial Company.
