Construction on 3 East 3rd Street in the East Village is substantially complete, with occupancy expected in the next few weeks. The six-story building is located just off of the intersection of East 3rd Street and Bowery, on the border of the East Village and The Bowery. The Flushing Willets Point Corona Local Development Corporation recently submitted proposals to New York City’s Department of City Planning to facilitate the redevelopment of a 29-acre stretch of waterfront industrial property and surrounding lands in Flushing, Queens. The proposals were drafted in collaboration with Langan Engineering and Environmental Services and contain new renderings from Hill West Architects offering a first look at what’s to come.

Demolition is almost complete at 80 Flatbush Avenue in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, the site of an 840-foot-tall skyscraper, the 17th tallest project underway in New York City. A large amount of debris and rubble is scattered across the narrow, triangular property and awaiting removal. The steel frame of a previous structure is still standing but will soon be knocked down to make way for the new multi-structure, mixed-use complex developed by Alloy Development.
