Reveal & Update For 13-Story Mixed-Use Building At 347 Bowery, East Village

In the beginning of last September, Urban Muse’s 13-story, five-unit mixed-use project at 347 Bowery, in the East Village, was a story above street level, and now the building is eight stories tall, per EV Grieve. The website has also revealed a rendering of the project, which is being designed by Annabelle Selldorf. Three- to five-bedroom condo units will range from 2,100 to 4,000 square feet, and three retail units will take up 10,800 square feet of space in a two-story base. Completion in is likely to occur in 2016.

Full Renderings Of Five-Story, 32-Unit Residential Project At 280 St. Marks Avenue, Prospect Heights

Early last month, a partial rendering was revealed of the planned five-story, 32-unit residential project at 280 St. Marks Avenue, in Prospect Heights. Now, with sales having officially launched, additional renderings have been released, per Real Estate Weekly. DXA Studio is designing the building, which will reportedly be clad in nearly 16,000 Petersen Kolumba ceramic bricks. Condos units will come in one- to four-bedroom arrangements, and there will be six penthouses as well as two townhouse-style duplex units. DNA Development is behind the project, which should be complete in late 2016.



15 Kensington Road

Four-Story, 54-Unit Residential Complex Under Construction At 15 Kensington Road, Bronxville

A four-story, 54-unit condominium project is currently under construction at 15 Kensington Road, in the downtown area of Bronxville, in Westchester County, according to Westfair. Construction began over the summer after years of delays, and occupancy is currently expected in the spring of 2017. The complex, dubbed VillaBXV, will have one- to three-bedroom units as well as penthouses, which together range from 1,300 to 2,000 square feet apiece. Greenwich, Connecticut-based Fareri Associates is developing. It’s located across the street from the village’s Metro-North Railroad station.


340 Flatbush Avenue Ext.

340 Flatbush Ave Ext. Revealed, Brooklyn’s First Supertall Skyscraper

Back in June of 2014, YIMBY reported on new building applications filed by JDS Development for a tower coming to 340 Flatbush Avenue Ext., on the southeastern edge of Downtown Brooklyn. Now, we have the first rendering and actual details for the SHoP-designed tower, which will rise 1,000 feet tall, claiming the title of New York City’s tallest building outside of Manhattan, and giving Brooklyn its first legitimate supertall skyscraper.
