Hello Living’s Eli Karp is developing buildings across Crown Heights, Prospect Lefferts Gardens and Flatbush, and now he’s filed plans for a 10-story rental building at 1520 Fulton Street in Bed Stuy.
Curbed has the latest renderings for the seven-story, 62-unit residential building — dubbed The Grove — currently under construction at 30-40 21st Street, in western Astoria. The project is being developed by Tsilo Group and designed by TKA Studio. Construction began in late 2013, and opening is projected for this upcoming fall.
While Extell has avoided posting any information on-site or online for 217 West 57th Street, YIMBY has brought you two sets of plans for the building, with the most recently obtained versions (dated June of 2014) depicting a 1,795-foot pinnacle. We have now obtained an official rendering Extell is using for the project, dated from this March, confirming it will look almost identical to both versions previously revealed by YIMBY as well as the image of the tower created in-house at Smith + Gill.
As federal recovery money has slowly flowed into the Rockaways, YIMBY has noticed plenty of new building permits for one- and two-family homes, but very few for multi-family developments. However, it seems like the tide may be starting to turn for the flood-damaged peninsula in eastern Queens: plans have just been filed for a four-story apartment building at 11-30 McBride Street in Far Rockaway.
Property owner Daudi Rodriguez has filed applications for two two-story, two-unit residential buildings at the lots 2414-2416 Bouck Avenue, in Pelham Gardens. The four residential units will be split across nearly 6,900 square feet of residential space, and Jung Y. Shin is the architect of record. An existing two-story, single-family building must first be demolished.
