Allied Realty Partners LLC has filed applications for three three-story residential buildings, each measuring 8,750 square feet — two buildings containing four units, one with three — at 55-12 – 55-16 Van Doren Street, in Corona. Angelo NG + Anthony NG Architects Studio is designing, and the existing two-story structure at No. 55-14 was approved for demolition last Fall.
When Hurricane Sandy hit, most of the damage to Manhattan came in the form of flooding, but some buildings were also casualties of high winds. That was especially true at 92 Eighth Avenue, located between 14th and 15th Streets in Chelsea, as the structure’s facade collapsed during the storm, leaving the interiors exposed. Antonio Pecora, head of TPEC LLC, has filed applications for a five-story, five-unit residential building at the vacant lot 656 St. Anns Avenue, in Woodstock. Rudy Dupuy is designing the building, of which is planned to measure 5,652 square feet.
