Renderings are out for a nine-story residential building at 514 Herkimer Street, in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. IMC Architecture is responsible for the building. The firm’s Principal, Eugene Mekhtiyev, told us that “the design is inspired by older masonry architecture prevalent throughout Brooklyn… The project is meant to fit within the context of the borough while providing a unique design.”
Permits have been filed for a three-story residential building to come to 102 Huron Street, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The site sits three blocks from the waterfront, and six blocks away from the Greenpoint Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the G train. Daniel Kaykow of Renovation Group is responsible for the development.
Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 20 Havemeyer Street, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The site would come to one of the more active areas of the neighborhood, near McCarren Park, and four blocks away from the Metropolitan Avenue subway station, serviced by the L and G trains. Being Williamsburg, plenty of nightlife and exciting restaurants are in the area. South Side Units will be responsible for the development.
Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 152 Erasmus Street, in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. The site will rise two blocks away from the Church Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Prospect Park is less than a mile’s walk away, as well. Joseph Deutsch, of Deutsch Equity, will be responsible for the development.
Construction is moving swiftly at 570 Broome Street, and the 25-story high-rise has officially topped-out. YIMBY last reported on the site a month and a half ago when renderings of interiors and the lobby were revealed. The site is rising in Hudson Square, which is rapidly filling with new residential developments following a comprehensive rezoning passed earlier this decade.
