Three-Family Development Replacing Single-Story Home At 121-10 149th Avenue, South Ozone Park

Rajpreet Kaur has filed applications for a three-unit residential development spanning the lots of 121-10 – 121-14 149th Avenue, in South Ozone Park, northeast of JFK Airport. Consisting of two 2,250 square-foot, two-story buildings, one will function as a single-family home, while the other will be a two-family building. Manish Savani is the architect of record, and the site’s former single-story home — acquired in 2014 for $870,000 — was demolished earlier this month.

It’s been a busy week for Bronx permits at the Department of Buildings, and now we have a second filing for a market-rate building from Midtown South-based developer Kim Tasher. Prolific Bronx designers Badaly Architects filed a new building application today for an eight-story development at 1685 Monroe Avenue in the Claremont section of the Bronx, just half a block south of the Cross Bronx Expressway.
