Property owner Anthony Pugliesie has filed applications for two three-story, single-family houses spanning the vacant lots at 259-261 Boundary Avenue, in Midland Beach. One home will measure 2,835 square feet, and the other 1,922 square feet; Scaglione Architects is designing. In 2007, the site’s former two-story structure was demolished.
Baiano Development has filed applications for 30 two-story, single-family townhouses for their planned 84-unit, 135,400 square-foot residential development, in Staten Island’s Clifton neighborhood. Dubbed EastPointe at Bridgeview, YIMBY brought you news the project in July of 2014, and each unit will measure roughly 1,500 square feet. Moss & Sayad Architects is designing, and construction is underway.
Soundview Partners has filed applications for a three-story, two-unit residential building at 39-32 28th Street, north of Court Square in Long Island City. The project will encompass 3,313 square feet of residential space, and Arc Architecture + Design Studio is designing. An existing two-story brick abode must first be demolished.
Yesterday, YIMBY revealed the exteriors for 1 Park Lane, which has an actual address of 36 Central Park South, the site of the current Helmsley Park Lane. While we speculated that Vinoly was behind the renderings, we have now learned that Handel Architects is in fact behind the design, which is unsurprising considering the supertall does resemble a vertically extruded take on the Trump Soho (another Handel project). The 1,210-foot tall building will have 88 condominiums, and completion is expected by 2020.
Back in September, YIMBY reported on the first permits for 239 Tenth Avenue, a new building which is being developed by Victor Homes and Michael Shvo. Renderings were glimpsed previously, but we now have the full reveal for the 12-story building, which will have only eight condominiums.
