69 Adams Street Nears Completion In DUMBO, Brooklyn

Construction is nearing completion on 69 Adams Street, a 26-story residential building in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Designed by Fariba Makooi of Fischer + Makooi Architects and developed by Rabsky Group, the 280-foot-tall structure will span 258,200 square feet and yield 225 rental units in studio to two-bedroom layouts, as well as 60 feet of ground-floor retail frontage, a middle office component, a 25-foot-long rear yard, and 90 parking spaces. Galaxy Developers is the general contractor for the property, which is bound by Front Street to the north, York Street to the south, the elevated Manhattan Bridge roadway to the east, and Adams Street to the west.

Renderings Revealed For 20 Long Slip in Jersey City, New Jersey

New renderings have been released for 20 Long Slip, a proposed 50-story residential skyscraper along the Hudson River waterfront in the Newport section of Jersey City, New Jersey. Designed by Arquitectonica with Hill West Architects as the architect of record, the 526-foot-tall structure will yield 529 apartments and 2,364 square feet of retail space on the lower floors. Dresden Robin is the civil engineer and landscape architect for the property, which is currently occupied by an open-air parking lot at the end of Park Lane North, with the Hudson River and dog run to the east, Washington Boulevard and 18th Street to the west, and the rail lines for the Hoboken-Bergen Light Rail system to the north.

111 Charles Street Wraps Up Construction In West Village, Manhattan

Construction is finishing up on 111 Charles Street, a seven-story residential building in Manhattan’s West Village. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects who received LPC approval for the facade design and built by BKSK Architects who also did the interiors, the 63-foot-tall structure spans 48,535 square feet and yields 19 rental units, as well as 6,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor and cellar levels. Titanium Construction Services was the general contractor, and Belden Tri-State Building Materials was the brick supplier for the project, which is alternately addressed as 540 Hudson Street and located at the corner of Hudson and Charles Streets.

Foundations Take Shape at 150 Lawrence Street in Downtown Brooklyn

Foundations are progressing at 150 Lawrence Street, the site of a 25-story residential building in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by JFA Architects and Engineers and developed by Solomon Schwimmer under the Lawrence Heights Holding LLC, which acquired the property for $23 million, the 250-foot-tall structure will span 82,366 square feet and yield 101 units with an average scope of 734 square feet, as well as 8,201 square feet of commercial space, a cellar level, and a 32-foot-long rear yard. Twin Group Associates is listed as the general contractor for the project, which is located between Fulton and Willoughby Streets.

Excavation Underway At 184-192 Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Excavation is underway at 184-192 Bedford Avenue, the site of a two-story commercial building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Building Studio Architects as the architect of record and developed by L3 Capital, which acquired the property from RedSky Capital in 2020, the 30-foot-tall structure will yield 24,000 square feet as either a single-tenant retail flagship or a multi-tenant mixed-use property. RS JZ Bedford-N 6th, LLC is listed as the owner and McGowan Builders is the general contractor for the project, which is located on an interior lot between North 6th and North 7th Streets.

The Brook Approaches Halfway Mark At 589 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn

Construction is nearing the halfway mark on The Brook, a 51-story residential skyscraper at 589 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by Beyer Blinder Belle and developed by Witkoff Group and Apollo Global Management, the 575-foot-tall structure will span 557,973 square feet and yield 591 rental units with an average scope of 827 square feet, with 30 percent of the inventory reserved for affordable housing, as well as 68,693 square feet of retail space, a cellar level, and two floors of recreational and sports amenities. Bonetti Kozerski is the interior designer and Suffolk Construction is the general contractor for the project, which is bound by DeKalb Avenue to the north, Fulton Street to the south, Flatbush Avenue diagonally to the east, and Bond Street to the west.

Foundations Progress at 288 4th Avenue in Gowanus, Brooklyn

Foundations are steadily progressing at 288 4th Avenue, the site of a 14-story mixed-use building in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Designed by Fischer Makooi Architect and developed by Joseph Vogel, the 146-foot-tall structure will yield 66 rental units, a cellar level, 4,309 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, a public outdoor terrace, and a second-floor recreational area. Crown 286 4th Avenue is listed as the owner and B Contractors Group LLC is the general contractor for the property, which is located on an interior lot between 1st and Carroll Streets.

1 Park Point Nears Completion In Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn

Construction is nearing completion on 1 Park Point, a 13-story residential building in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by JEMB Realty, the 145-foot-tall structure will span 395,726 square feet and yield 375 rental units with an average scope of 798 square feet, 25 percent of which will be dedicated to affordable housing, as well as 5,388 square feet of retail space, 18,850 square feet of community space, a cellar level, and 106 enclosed parking spaces. INC Architecture & Design is the interior designer and Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor for the property, which was formerly addressed as 11 Ocean Parkway and is located on Machate Circle at the southwestern corner of Prospect Park, bound by Ocean Parkway, Coney Island Avenue, and Caton Place.

456-Unit Building Tops Out at 1057 Atlantic Avenue in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn

Construction has topped out on 1057 Atlantic Avenue, a 17-story residential building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by dencityworks and developed by Douglaston Development, the sprawling 474,000-square-foot structure will yield 456 rental apartments in studio to three-bedroom layouts, with 137 units reserved for affordable housing, as well as 35,000 square feet of amenities and 31,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Levine Builders is the general contractor for the $320 million project, which was formerly addressed as 1045 Atlantic Avenue and is located between Classon and Franklin Avenues.

Disney Headquarters Nears Completion at 7 Hudson Square in Hudson Square, Manhattan

Construction is nearing completion on The Walt Disney Company’s 22-story New York headquarters at 7 Hudson Square in Hudson Square, Manhattan. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and developed by Silverstein Properties, 338-foot-tall structure will yield 1.2 million square feet of offices, film and production studios, and ground-floor retail space. Lendlease is the general contractor for the project, which is alternately addressed as 137 Varick Street and formerly addressed as 4 Hudson Square, and stands on an 85,600-square-foot full-block plot bound by Vandam Street to the north, Spring Street to the south, Varick Street to the east, and Hudson Street to the west.
