The 21-story, 73-unit mixed-use building under development at 319 Schermerhorn Street, located on the corner of Nevins Street in Downtown Brooklyn, has topped out since YIMBY’s last update in August, and façade installation is well underway. The latest building permits indicate the structure rises 210 feet to its rooftop and encompasses 90,181 square feet.
Construction has topped out and façade installation is well underway on the 30-story, 104-unit mixed-use building under development at 200 East 95th Street, located on the corner of Third Avenue on the Upper East Side. The latest building permits indicate the building, dubbed The Kent, encompasses 317,664 square feet and rises 392 feet to its pinnacle.
Changes are coming this year to storefronts at 1114 Madison Avenue, also known as 25 East 83rd Street, on the Upper East Side. The 12-story residential building, built in 1938, hasn’t seen updates to its ground floor retail about thirty years, and YIMBY has a preview of what’s in store.
Last time we reported on 120 Nassau Street, construction had reached 24 stories. The 33-story, 312,093 square-foot tower, at the intersection of Jay and Nassau streets in Downtown Brooklyn, has topped out and façade installation is well underway.
Phoenix, Arizona-based Alliance Residential Company is proposing a 16-story, 434-unit mixed-use project at 170 East Post Road, located on the corner of Mamaroneck Avenue in downtown White Plains. The latest plans call for roughly 7,500 square feet of ground-floor commercial-retail space, an outdoor café, and a small pedestrian plaza at the street corner, The Journal News reported. The residential units will be rental apartments. There will also be a six-story parking garage to be located centrally on the block with an entrance on Mitchell Place. The project requires site plan approval. Two low-rise commercial buildings must first be demolished.
