First Look: Renderings for Extell’s 250 South Street

Extell’s new tower coming to 250 South Street received an on-site rendering a few months ago, but now YIMBY has the first up-close look at the project, as well as a few interiors. The building will rise on the site of an old Pathmark, and while it was initially expected to be 68 stories tall, it was reduced to 56 floors on the latest DOB filings.

Five-Story Garage Marketed As Residential Conversion at 56 North Moore Street, Tribeca

The Calicchio family is marketing the five-story, 41,000 square-foot parking garage at 56 North Moore Street, in Tribeca, as a redevelopment site for $88 million. The property comes with an additional 3,000 square feet of air rights, per The Real Deal, and the garage would probably be converted into luxury residential units. Avison Young is marketing the property.

Cape Advisors Plans Condo Development on West Broadway and Murray Street, Tribeca

Cape Advisors has acquired an assemblage of six buildings on West Broadway between Warren and Murray Streets, in Tribeca, for $50 million. The new owner is planning to demolish the existing properties for a condominium building measuring 46,000 square feet. Cushman & Wakefield marketed the property, and the deal broke $1,000 per square-foot, per Crain’s Business.

Landmarks Wants Re-Think of Re-Development At 28 Liberty Street

In 2013, Fosun International Ltd. bought One Chase Manhattan Plaza. They have re-branded it as 28 Liberty Street and now they want to re-develop the landmark. The proposal includes ground floor retail and major changes to the plaza, and was presented to the Landmarks Preservation Commission on Tuesday, but the commissioners had issues. So, the team will have to re-work their plan before they get the go-ahead.
