LPC to Review Façade Design Proposals for 61-63 Crosby Street In Soho, Manhattan

In 2016, the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) granted approvals for a commercial office conversion of two aging townhouses at 61-63 Crosby Street in SoHo, Manhattan. Architect David Grider, who oversaw the initial design and application process, will return to the LPC on Tuesday, April 21st with proposals to modernize and restore the buildings’ existing facades.

Rendering Revealed for Broome Street Development on the Lower East Side

Permits have been filed for a 16-story mixed-use building at 64 Norfolk Street on Manhattan’s Lower East Side as part of the Broome Street Development, which is compromised of two mixed-use buildings spanning an estimated total of 387,223 square feet. Gotham Organization is listed as the owner behind the applications, and filed permits for 55 Suffolk Street last month. Gotham is coordinating administratively with the Department of Building to establish the BIN for the Suffolk Building.

Permits have been filed for a 12-story mixed-use building at 89 Ludlow Street on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Located between Broome Street and Delancey Street, the interior lot is a short walk to the Bowery subway station, serviced by the J and Z trains and the Grand Street station, serviced by the B and D trains. Sharon Huang under the 91 Ludlow Street LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
