Construction On 222 E. Broadway Nears Completion On Manhattan’s Lower East Side

Exterior work is nearing the finish line on 222 E. Broadway, a 28-story residential tower on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Designed by SLCE Architects with S4Architecture designing the facade, and developed by Optimum Asset Management, the 84,271-square-foot structure will yield 70 units in studio to four-bedroom layouts, with an average scope of 1,397 square feet apiece and interiors by Paris Forino. 222 E. Broadway is located by the corner of E. Broadway and Clinton Street. Cantor Pecorella is handling sales and marketing.

111 Wall Street’s New Façade Begins Installation in Financial District, Manhattan

Re-cladding work has begun on 111 Wall Street, a 25-story commercial building undergoing renovations in the Financial District. Designed by STUDIOS Architecture and developed by Wafra Capital Partners and The Nightingale Group, the $100 million project involves the replacement of the mid-century façade, a complete overhaul of 1.5 million square feet of office space, and the construction of an expanded lobby and new amenities designed by URBN Playground. Hunter Roberts Construction Group is the general contractor and JLL is handling leasing for the Lower Manhattan property, which is bound by Wall Street and Mannahatta Park to the northeast, Front Street to the northwest, Gouverneur Lane to the southwest, and South Street and the FDR Drive to the southeast.

Exterior Work Wraps Up on Google Headquarters at 550 Washington Street in Hudson Square, Manhattan

Construction has reached the final stages on Google’s 1.3 million-square-foot headquarters at 550 Washington Street in Hudson Square. Designed by COOKFOX Architects and developed by Oxford Properties, the project involves the repurposing and vertical expansion of the former St. John’s Terminal building along the Hudson River waterfront. The 232-foot-tall structure will serve as the centerpiece of the 1.7 million-square-foot “Googleplex” master plan along with 315 Hudson Street and 345 Hudson Street. Turner Construction is the general contractor for the property, which spans two full city blocks between West Street, West Houston Street, Washington Street, and the New York Department of Sanitation building.
