Permits have been filed for an 11-story mixed-use building at 134 Jane Street in the West Village of Manhattan. Located at the intersection of West Street and Jane Street, the corner lot is within walking distance of the 14th Street subway station at 8th Avenue, serviced by the A, B, C, and L trains. Matthew Abreu of Aurora Capital Associates is listed as the owner behind the applications. Aurora Capital is also one of the developers for the neighboring 70-74 Gansevoort Street, a six-story mixed-use office building.

Construction Wraps Up on Tin Building at 95 Marginal Street in Seaport District, Manhattan

Exterior work is nearing completion on the Tin Building, a three-story commercial building at 95 Marginal Street on Pier 17 in the South Street Seaport District. Designed by SHoP Architects and developed by Howard Hughes Corporation with Plaza Construction as construction manager, the facility will open with a seafood-themed market by Jean-Georges Vongerichten, the main tenant of the low rise building. The 53,000-square-foot structure is located to the east of South Street and the elevated FDR Drive.

Housing Lottery Launches for 63 Units at 7 Dey Street in Manhattan’s Financial District

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 7 Dey Street, a 34-story mixed-use building designed by FXCollaborative in the Financial District of Manhattan. The lottery is run in cooperation with SL Green, NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development, and non-profit Settlement Housing Fund. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 63 units for residents at 70 to 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $45,566 to $167,570.
