No. 33 Park Row’s Steel Façade Nears Completion in the Financial District

The steel and glass curtain wall is nearing the top of No.33 Park Row, aka Pearl on the Park, a 25-story residential building in the Financial District. Designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners and developed by Centurion Real Estate Partners and Urban Muse, the project stands 331 feet tall and will yield a total of 30 units with uninterrupted views of City Hall Park and the surrounding Civic Center neighborhood.

Seaport Residence’s Glass Curtain Continues Installation in Financial District

The glass façade of Seaport Residences, formally addressed as One Seaport, aka 161 Maiden Lane, is continuing to rise up the slender reinforced concrete superstructure in the Financial District. Most of the blue glass envelope on the eastern elevation is complete, though not much progress has occurred on the other sides of the skyscraper. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Fortis Property Group LLC, the 200,000-square-foot, 60-story residential building will contain 80 units, sales of which will be handled by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing. Ray Builders is the current contractor for the South Street Seaport-adjacent project, while Groves & Co is serving as the interior designer.

Residential Transformation Revealed for Classical Revival Library at 61 Rivington Street in Chinatown, Manhattan

Issac & Stern Architects and Picksell Studio are working with developer Horizon Group to transform a three-story Classical Revival style building in Chinatown, Manhattan. New renderings of the project offer a first look at the ongoing residential redevelopment located at 61 Rivington Street. The original structure was completed around 1903 and served as a downtown branch of The New York Public Library. The base of the building incorporates horizontally scored masonry that transitions into red brick at the second and third floors.

25 Park Row Prepares For Anticipated Spring Debut in the Financial District

Work is nearing completion at 25 Park Row, a 702-foot-tall mixed-use skyscraper in the Financial District. Designed by COOKFOX Architects and developed by L+M Development Partners along with the family behind J&R Music World, the 50-story building will contain 110 residences marketed by Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group, as well as commercial space handled by Cushman & Wakefield.
