Mack-Cali’s Harborside 8 Awaits Start of Excavation in Jersey City

Today, we wrap up our weeklong Jersey City update with a preview of Harborside 8, the most notable project on the drawing boards for the city. Designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects and developed by Roseland Residential Trust, a subsidiary of Mack Cali, the 68-story, 708-foot-tall residential skyscraper will stand as one of the tallest buildings in the state and make a profound impact on the skyline along the Hudson River.

New Design Revealed for Kushner Companies’ Two-Towered 1 Journal Square, in Jersey City

Following the successful resolution of recent litigation with Jersey City, a new design has been released for Kushner Companies’ planned two-towered high rise residential development at 1 Journal Square Plaza, in Jersey City‘s Journal Square. Also known as 1 Journal Square, construction is expected to break ground in 2021. The revised designs would add two major skyscrapers to the neighborhood’s growing skyline, both standing over 700 feet to their rooftops.

Vantage’s Second Tower Nears Completion at 33 Park View Avenue in Jersey City

Construction is nearing completion on the second phase of Vantage, a two-tower residential complex at 33 Park View Avenue in Jersey City. Designed by S9 Architecture and developed by Fisher Organization, the development features twin 44-story towers and will yield a total of 900 apartments. Phase two features 452 homes ranging from studios to two-bedroom units.
