Excavation Progresses at 354-360 West 52nd Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan

Excavation and early foundation work is steadily progressing at 354 West 52nd Street, an upcoming seven-story condominium property in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. Designed by Architecture Outfit and developed by Cadence Property Group, HOH Capital Partners, and Deal Lake Capital, who also purchased the adjacent 360 West 52nd Street lot to the west as part of the project, the future 66-foot tall, 55,000-square foot structure will yield 32 units spanning one- to three-bedrooms, stretch nearly 92 feet along West 52nd Street and include a 20-foot wide private main entrance on West 51st Street. Titanium Construction Services, Inc. is the general contractor for the site, which is located between Eighth and Ninth Avenues.

Designed by Bricolage Designs and developed by Pouyafar Fouad under the 1716 Holding LLC, the structure yields 11 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are four units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $123,429 to $198,250.

Related Companies Reveals Bid for Supertall Skyscraper Casino Complex in Hudson Yards, Manhattan

Plans have been revealed for Hudson Yards Phase Two, the latest bid for a potential mixed-use casino development in Manhattan. Partners Related Companies and Wynn Resorts filed plans with the Department of City Planning calling for a $12 billion complex consisting of multiple skyscrapers that would yield 1,500 apartments, 2 million square feet of office space, a public school and daycare center, and a hotel and casino operated by the Las Vegas-based hospitality brand. The development is slated to rise directly west of the first phase of Hudson Yards over the 13-acre open-air Western Rail Yards bound by West 33rd Street to the north, West 30th Street to the south, Eleventh Avenue to the east, and West Street to the west.

Permits Filed for 5 Stuyvesant Place in St. George, Staten Island

New renderings have been released for Hoboken Point, a 15-story two-tower residential development under construction at 100 Harbor Boulevard in the Lincoln Harbor section of Weehawken, New Jersey. Designed by CetraRuddy Architecture and developed by Hartz Mountain Industries, the complex will yield 262 rental units in studio to two-bedroom-plus-den layouts, a host of residential amenities, and a public waterfront esplanade. Greystar is the exclusive leasing agent and property management firm for the property, which is situated between the Hudson River and Harbor Boulevard to the east and Park Avenue and the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail tracks to the west.

Designed by Fogarty Finger and developed by Allstate Ventures, the structure is the third and final component in the Westchester Place master plan and will yield 315 rental units in studio to two-bedroom layouts. EXR is handing marketing and leasing for the property, which is alternately addressed as 316 Huguenot Place and bound by Huguenot Street to the northwest and Westchester Place to the southeast.

Construction is nearing completion on Sherman Plaza, a 19-story mixed-use building at 4650 Broadway in Inwood, Manhattan. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by Arden Group, which acquired the property for $54 million in 2019, the 260-foot-tall structure will span 351,000 square feet and yield 222 rental apartments, 38,000 square feet of lower-level retail space, and an 80,000-square-foot charter school. Aqozfi Inwood LLC is listed as the owner and Consigli Construction Co. is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the intersection of Broadway and Sherman Avenue, directly east of Fort Tyron Park.

204 4th Avenue’s Exterior Takes Shape in Gowanus, Brooklyn

Designed by L+Z Architecture and developed by Avery Hall and Gindi Capital, the 200,000-square-foot structure will yield 193 rental units and 14,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Leeding Builders Group is the general contractor for the project, which is alternately addressed as 653 Union Street and is located on a half-acre rectangular plot bound by Sackett Street to the north and Raul Vasquez Jr. Place to the south.

Foundations are taking shape at 544 Carroll Street, the site of a 17-story residential building on the eastern edge of Gowanus, Brooklyn. Designed and developed by Avery Hall with L+Z Architecture as the architect of record, the 175,000-square-foot structure will yield 133 rental units with 25 percent designated as affordable housing, as well as 6,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Leeding Builders Group LLC is the construction manager for the property, which is alternately addressed as 272 Fourth Avenue and bound by Carroll Street to the north and 4th Avenue to the east. The project is expected to cost between $90 and $120 million.
