The four residential units will be split across nearly 6,900 square feet of residential space, and Jung Y. Shin is the architect of record. An existing two-story, single-family building must first be demolished.
YIMBY brought you news early last year of a the 12-story, 42-condo-unit mixed-use building planned for 1 John Street, in Dumbo, and now the project is now rising. Alloy Development and Monadnock Development are developing the building, which is three or four stories up, according to Curbed. An in-house team at Alloy is designing, and completion is expected by 2016.
An LLC has filed applications for a four-story, three-unit residential building at 174 Richardson Street, in northern Williamsburg. The building will measure nearly 4,750 square feet, and Philip Toscano is designing. The existing two-story, two-unit townhouse passed pre-demolition inspection earlier in May.

The eight residential units will be divided over 7,140 square feet of residential space, and Fred Geremia is designing. The existing 2.5-story, two-unit wood-framed structure was approved for demolition in February.
