Condo Conversion Underway At 88 & 90 Lexington Avenue, NoMad

Earlier this year, it was revealed that HFZ Capital is planning to convert the 19- and 13-story buildings at 88 and 90 Lexington Avenue, in NoMad, into condominiums. Now, construction appears to be well underway at both properties, per Tectonic. Both buildings, formerly rental apartments, are being combined to share a lobby and amenity space. The shorter building has also receive a totally new façade, which appears to be mostly complete. Workshop/ADP is designing, and completion is slated for 2016.

Four-Story, Six-Unit Residential Project Planned At 1224 41st Street, Borough Park

David Frank, of Cityscape Build, has filed applications for a four-story, six-unit residential building at 1224-1226 41st Street, in northern Borough Park, four blocks from the Fort Hamilton Parkway stop on the D train. The building will measure 9,615 square feet in total, which means units will average 1,602 square feet apiece, indicative of condominiums. Rockland County-based Kenneth Thomas is the architect of record, and two existing two-story townhouses must first be demolished.
