Exterior work is progressing on The Rockwell, a 13-story residential building at 2688 Broadway on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed in collaboration by Toll Brothers, which is also serving as the general contractor, and Sculptor under the 2686-2690 Broadway LLC, the structure will yield 81 condominium units in studio to three-bedroom layouts and a ground-floor retail space to be occupied by a CVS Pharmacy. The property is located at the southeast corner of West 103rd Street and Broadway.

Demolition Finishes at 1357 Second Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Demolition is wrapping up at 1357 Second Avenue, the site of a 21-story residential building in the Lenox Hill section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Developed by The Chetrit Group, which purchased the property for $47.2 million in 2018, the 230-foot-tall structure will yield 54 apartments spread across 150,000 square feet and 5,700 square feet of commercial space. The development also includes a four-story, 40-foot-tall annex that will yield an additional inventory of affordable housing units. CF East 72 Owner LLC is the owner and RIG Kingland Services is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the corner of Second Avenue and East 72nd Street.

The Plains Affordable Housing Project Tops Out at 4519 White Plains Road in Wakefield, The Bronx

Construction has topped out on The Plains, a nine-story mixed-income residential property at 4519 White Plains Road in the Wakefield section of The Bronx. Led by developers The Doe Fund and Robert Sanborn Development, the building will contain 98 deeply affordable homes, 20 apartments reserved for tenants 62 and older, and on-site supportive housing for 49 formerly homeless adults living with disabilities.
