71-Unit Residential Building On Track For 41-15 23rd Street, Long Island City

After two years, property owner Isaac Schwartz has filed more applications for an 11-story, 71-unit residential building at 41-11 – 41-15 23rd Street in Long Island City . The structure will have 59,200 square feet of residential space, and Karl Fischer is designing. The building applications have just been approved, and the single-story warehouse and another two-story structure were demolished earlier this year.

15+ Single-Family Homes Planned For Undeveloped Parcel In Tottenville, Staten Island

Prolific Staten Island developer Thomas Costa has filed applications for a large-scale single-family-building subdivision at the undeveloped swath of land at Page Avenue and Amboy Road, in Tottenville. Spanning the yet-to-be paved 200-218 Cheevers Lane, six three-story homes averaging 2,960 square feet are planned. At 205-219 Cheevers, five two-story homes measuring 2,640 square feet each are in the works. Finally, at 65-77 Giegerich Avenue, four three-story homes averaging nearly 2,500 square feet are planned. Moss & Sayad Architects is designing.

Revealed: Williamsburg Warehouse Conversion at 89 Grand Street

UPDATE: Reps have gotten in touch with YIMBY, noting that these renderings are now outdated, and that Morris Adjmi is now designing the building instead of AA Studio.

A residential conversion is in the works for a three-story loft building at 89 Grand Street in Williamsburg, and YIMBY has the first look at the planned three-story expansion and new two-story building next door.
