There are still affordable housing lottery units available for 30 East 29th Street, a four-story residential building in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Designed by Design Studio Associates NY and developed by Ali Rashid, the structure yields seven residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are three units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $64,286 to $139,620.

FÖRENA’s Brick Façade Begins to Emerge at 540 Sixth Avenue in Chelsea, Manhattan

Scaffolding has begun to come down from FÖRENA, revealing the brick façade of the 12-story residential building at 540 Sixth Avenue in Chelsea. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Landsea Homes and DNA Development, the 80,000-square-foot building will yield 50 units in one- to three-bedroom layouts marketed by Fredrik Eklund and John Gomes of The Eklund Gomes Team at Douglas Elliman. Ryder Construction Co. is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the corner of West 14th Street and Sixth Avenue.

HPD to Construct 360 Affordable Homes in Stapleton, Staten Island

New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation and DevelopmentMonadnock, Sisters of Charity Housing Development Corporation, and The Master Group to construct a new 100 percent affordable housing property in Stapleton, Staten Island. The development will create 360 new affordable homes with more than half designated for the formerly homeless, extremely-low, and very low-income households.

RXR Realty recently celebrated the commencement of construction on 2413 Third Avenue, a 27-story residential tower in the Mott Haven section of the South Bronx. Designed by CetraRuddy Architecture, the development will comprise a mix of residences, parking, and ground-floor commercial area. 2413 Third Avenue arrives as RXR Realty’s first entry into the Bronx market.

YIMBY has an exclusive new set of exterior renderings for Claremont Hall, a topped-out 41-story residential and academic tower at 100 Claremont Avenue in Morningside Heights. Designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects with SLCE Architects as the architect of record and developed by L&M Development Partners, Daiwa House Texas, Inc., and Lendlease, the 354,000-square-foot structure will yield 165 condominiums as well as institutional offices, faculty housing, and classrooms for Union Theological Seminary. Beyer Blinder Belle is handling the renovations of Union Theological Seminary’s Hastings Hall, where students currently reside. Claremont Hall is situated by the corner of Claremont Avenue and West 122nd Street, directly across from Riverside Church, and the tower is being built by Lendlease Construction with the use of air rights from the seminary.

Wonder Works Construction Corporation is the general contractor for the property, which is located between Avenue A and First Avenue and is three blocks away from the Essex Street subway station, serviced by the F, J, M, and Z trains.
