Construction is wrapping up on Domino Square, a 33,000-square-foot public waterfront plaza and event space at 320 Kent Avenue within the 11-acre redevelopment of the historic Domino Sugar factory site in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Field Operations in collaboration with Studio Cadena and developed by Two Trees, the 1-acre park is located between The Refinery mixed-use office building to the north, the One Domino Square residential complex to the south, Kent Avenue to the east, and River Street, Domino Park, and the East River to the west.

651 4th Avenue Nears Completion in South Slope, Brooklyn

Construction is nearing completion on 651 Fourth Avenue, an 11-story residential building in South Slope, Brooklyn. Designed by INOA Architecture and developed by New Leaf Development, the structure will span 34,680 square feet and yield 26 condominium units with an average scope of 1,237 square feet, as well as 2,270 square feet of ground-floor retail space and 450 square feet for a small healthcare facility. The property is alternately addressed as 183 20th Street and located at the corner of 4th Avenue and 20th Street.

The Wave Completes Construction At 828 Metropolitan Avenue in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Construction is complete on The Wave, a nine-story residential building at 828 Metropolitan Avenue in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by The J Associates and developed by Joyland Development, the structure yields 136 rental units in studio to two-bedroom layouts as well as ground-floor retail space. The property is located at the intersection of Metropolitan and Bushwick Avenues and was formerly occupied by two townhouses, a gas station, and a surface-level parking lot.

The Varet Completes Construction at 50 Varet Street in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Construction is complete on The Varet, a seven-story mixed-use building at 50 Varet Street in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Meshberg Groupp Architects P.C. for 45 Graham Ave LLC, the structure yields 35 rental units in studio to two-bedroom layouts, with 11 units dedicated to affordable housing, as well as ground-floor retail space. The property is located at the corner of Varet Street and Avenue of Puerto Rico.

1333 Broadway Nears Completion in Bushwick, Brooklyn

Construction is nearing completion on 1333 Broadway, a 22-story mixed-use building in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Designed by GF55 Architects and developed by Ekstein Development Group under the 1333 Broadway LLC, the 206-foot-tall structure will span 136,000 square feet and yield 115 rental units, with 30 thirty percent dedicated to affordable housing, as well as office space, a community facility, and ground-floor retail. The property is located on a rectangular parcel at the intersection of Broadway and Linden Street.

Housing Lottery Launches for 679 Marcy Avenue in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn

Designed by Studio Gallos for Congregation Divrei Yoel, the 85-foot-tall structure will span 37,183 square feet and yield 14 units with an average scope of 1,877 square feet, as well as a 10,904-square-foot community facility on levels one through three. The formerly vacant property is situated on an interior lot between Throop and Harrison Avenues.

Housing Lottery Launches for 951 Bedford Avenue in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 951 Bedford Avenue, an eight-story mixed-use building in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by S. Wieder Architect and developed by Jacob Hirsch of JIH Builders Group LLC, the structure yields 20 residences. 75 Gerry Street Remains on Hold in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Construction is on hold at 75 Gerry Street, a five-story school expansion project in the Broadway Triangle section of East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Permits by UTA/BRHS Oholei Shloima posted on site from the end of May call for a horizontal and vertical extension of the abutting five-story Bais Rochel High School for girls, originally designed by Mark Mariscal and completed in 2015. The property is alternately addressed as 177 Harrison Avenue and is located near the intersection of Gerry Street and Harrison Avenue.

758-760 Metropolitan Avenue Stands Topped Out in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Designed by New York Design Architects, LLP for Brooklyn Boyz Developers LLC, the 70-foot-tall structure will yield ten residential units with an average scope of 860 square feet, as well as 4,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and a 35-foot-long rear yard. The property will be split into two separate addresses and is situated on an interior lot between Humboldt Street to the east and Graham Avenue to the west.
