Located at 135 Emerson Place between Myrtle and Willoughby avenues, the ten-story building overlooks the Northeastern corner of the campus and was designed in collaboration by CannonDesign, Hanrahan Meyers Architects, and other professionals from the institute, itself.

Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 216 57th Street in Borough Park, Brooklyn. Located between Second Avenue and Belt Parkway, the lot is five blocks from the 53rd Street subway station, serviced by the R train. Construction is continuing at 1220 Putnam Avenue in Bushwick, Brooklyn, where developers first broke ground in October 2018. Designed by ARC Architecture + Design Studio and developed by Boaz Gilad, the rising residential development will eventually top out at four stories and comprise a total 6,600 square feet.
Following approvals from the New York City Department of Buildings, Mortar Arch + Dev will soon begin construction on a new residential property at 206 Powers Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. In lieu of demolishing the location’s existing three-story building, Mortar will instead renovate and expand the property by one story to capitalize on the site’s allowable building area.
