Permits have been filed for a four-story mixed-use building at 379 Dewitt Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn. Located between Hinsdale Street and Williams Avenue, the lot is four blocks from the New Lots Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train. Yechiel Ausch under the Dewitt 375 LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Jeanne Gang’s 620-foot-tall, 57-story skyscraper at 11 Hoyt Street in Downtown Brooklyn is almost fully wrapped in its signature wavy curtain wall. The bright precast façade and large, square glass windows have only two floors remaining before the dynamic, rippling appearance of the cladding is fully realized. Tishman Speyer is the developer and Hill West is the architect of record for the Studio Gang-designed residential project. Edmund Hollander of Hollander Design is in charge of the landscaping for the outdoor green space above the motor courtyard and podium section.

Construction of 540 Fulton Street is nearing the halfway mark in Downtown Brooklyn, as workers rapidly pour and form the reinforced concrete slabs of the 511-foot-tall mixed-use skyscraper. Located near the corner of Fulton Street and Flatbush Avenue, the 43-story building is designed by Marvel Architects and is being developed by Jenel Management. The project will yield about 330,000 square feet, with 71,844 square feet allocated to commercial space and 22,054 square feet designated for retail on the lower floors. The remaining 239,142 square feet will be occupied by residential units.
Local developer Joel Berkowitz has teamed up with ND Architecture & Design to construct a 12,000-square-foot mixed-use property in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Located on a large corner lot at 310 St. Nicholas Avenue, the five-story building will contain a cellar-level community center, 1,939 square feet of ground-floor retail, and 5,486 square feet of residential area positioned above.
