Located at the confluence of Clinton Street and Cadman Plaza West and standing directly in front of One Pierrepont Plaza’s postmodern red and white facade, One Clinton Street, aka 280 Cadman Plaza West, is on the rise in Brooklyn Heights, on its way to a 409-foot-high pinnacle with 36 floors within. The tower is being designed by Marvel Architects and developed by Hudson Companies.
Located at 37 Blue Slip, with uninterrupted 180-degree views of the Midtown skyline and Lower Manhattan to the south, One Blue Slip is the first market-rate residential tower to go up in the 22-acre Greenpoint Landing, and leasing has now launched for the building’s 359 units. The news comes from Brookfield Properties, the developers of the project, alongside a joint venture with Park Tower Group, the master planner of the Greenpoint Landing development.
Alloy Development will today appear before the city’s Landmarks Preservation Commission to obtain approval for a residential conversion in Brooklyn’s DUMBO Historic District. Located at 168 Plymouth Street, the development includes the transformation of a five-story structure at 50 Jay Street, and a neighboring seven-story building at 42 Jay Street.
Located in South Williamsburg, which like most of Brooklyn has been undergoing rapid and major changes over the past decade, a small building at the intersection of Broadway, South Sixth Street and Bedford Avenue, has some new renderings. Cayuga Capital Management LLC is the developer, and has revealed fresh new images of the project. They previously purchased the sharp, triangular vacant lot back in 2016.
