Excavation work is getting started at 22 Chapel Street in Downtown Brooklyn. The ground-up, 20-story rental complex is designed by CetraRuddy and developed by Delshah Capital and OTL Enterprises. The superstructure will rise 211 feet high above Flatbush Avenue and sit between Chapel Street and Cathedral Place. A total of 133,181 square feet of residential space will be created and spread among 180 units.
Construction is moving along at 98 Front Street in DUMBO, Brooklyn. The ten-story residential project is designed by ODA and will feature a range of condominium units from studios to four-bedroom homes with over 100 distinct layouts, starting at $670,000. New York-based real estate investment group Hope Street Capital launched sales last month.

New renderings of the project reveal a modified façade, reorganization of rooftop mechanicals, and slightly altered window systems.

Located between Willoughby Street and Fulton Street, the lot is located near several subway stations, including Hoyt Street with the 2 and 3 trains; DeKalb Avenue with the B, Q, and R trains; and Jay Street-Metrotech with the A, C, and F trains. Also nearby are a few high-rise residential developments in progress like 9 DeKalb Avenue and Brooklyn Point at 138 Willoughby Street. Samiel Hansab under the 227 Duffield Street Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The Stanwix, a new rental building at 115 Stanwix Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn, is approaching full occupancy. JCS Realty is the developer and ND Architecture & Design is the architect of record for the eight-story structure, which illustrates how efforts to revitalize and invigorate the working-class neighborhood have exceeded the city’s expectations in regard to housing improvement, diversification, and economic development.
