Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation has partnered with renowned architect Sir David Adjaye to reimagine Restoration Plaza and Innovation Campus, its longtime home in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. The plaza is located along Fulton Street between the Nostrand Avenue and Kingston-Throop Avenue subway stations.
Exterior work is progressing on 69 Adams Street, a 26-story residential building in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Designed by Fariba Makooi of Fischer + Makooi Architects and developed by The Rabsky Group, the 280-foot-tall structure will span 258,200 square feet and yield 225 units in studio to two-bedroom layouts, as well as 60 feet of retail frontage, a 25-foot-long rear yard, and 61 parking spaces. Galaxy Developers is the general contractor for the property, which is bound by Front Street to the north, York Street to the south, the elevated Manhattan Bridge roadway to the east, and Adams Street to the west.
The Community Preservation Corporation (CPC) and Proto Property Services have closed on a $100 million refinance for Riverdale Osborne Towers, a 525-unit affordable housing complex in Brownsville, Brooklyn. The partners plan to use the financing to complete extensive renovations and facility modernization throughout the complex, which is addressed as 420-440 Watkins Street. The funds will also ensure the property remains financially stable and preserves long-term affordability for residents.
Construction has topped out on 47 Diamond Street, a three-story residential building in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by Paul Lombardi of Design Studio Associates and developed by 47 Diamond Street LLC, the 48-foot-tall structure will span 133,321 square feet and yield nine units with an average scope of 1,480 square feet, as well as a cellar level, a penthouse, and a 30-foot-long rear yard. Giron Contracting is the general contractor for the project, which is located on an interior lot between Nassau and Driggs Avenues.
Construction has reached the halfway point on 29 Jay Street, an 11-story commercial building in Brooklyn‘s DUMBO Historic District. Designed by Marvel Architects and developed by Jay Street Office LLC, the 150-foot-tall structure will yield 225,000 square feet of office space. Sciame Construction is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the northeast corner of Jay and Plymouth Streets.
