The affordable housing lottery has launched for 60 Cedar Street, an 18-story mixed-use building in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Designed by S. Wieder Architects and developed by Louis Handler of BTE, the structure yields 145 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 42 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $106,458 to $198,250.

Renderings Revealed for Gowanus Green Affordable Housing Complex in Gowanus, Brooklyn

New renderings have been revealed for Gowanus Green, a six-building mixed-use complex in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Designed by Marvel Architects and developed by The Hudson Companies, Jonathan Rose Companies, The Bluestone Organization, and Fifth Avenue Committee, the four-acre master plan will yield 990,000 square feet across six buildings with 950 affordable homes, retail and community space, an 80,000-square-foot public grade school, and a new waterfront esplanade. SCAPE is the landscape architect for the project, which is bound by 5th Street to the northeast, Smith Street to the northwest, the Gowanus Canal to the southeast, and a vacant plot at 459 Smith Street to the southwest.

New Renderings Revealed For Lorimer House At 265 Lorimer Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

New renderings have been revealed for Lorimer House, an eight-story mixed-use building at 265 Lorimer Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by ODA, which also will serve as landscape architect, and developed by Joyland Management, Meral Property Group, and Loketch Group, the 85-foot-tall, 318,400-square foot structure will yield 270 rental units in studio- to two-bedroom layouts including some with private outdoor space, as well as a set of 66 rental homes called the Copper Lofts, ground-floor commercial space, and more than 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities. Durukan Design is the landscape designer for the project, which is located on a formerly vacant plot bound by Boerum Street to the north, Broadway to the south, and Lorimer Street to the east.
