19-Story, 68-Unit Building Planned At 146 Pierrepont Street, Brooklyn Heights

In 2014, Jonathan Rose Companies acquired the thru-block commercial property at 181 Montague/140 Pierrepont Street, in Brooklyn Heights; the developer also owns the five-story building at 146 Pierrepont Street. Now, new building applications have been filed with the DOB calling for a 19-story, 68-unit mixed-use building. Units will average a condo-sized 1,860 square feet in the 132,715 square-foot building. Retail space will also measure 6,230 square feet on the ground floor.


185 Avenue B

Seven-Story, 41-Unit Rental Building Wraps Up At 185 Avenue B, East Village

Façade installation is nearing completion at the seven-story, 41-unit mixed-use building under construction at 185-193 Avenue B, in the East Village, according to EV Grieve. The Elim Pentecostal Church owns the property, and will have a 6,650 square-foot facility on the ground floor. The entire structure will measure 33,865 square feet, and units will average a rental-sized 665 square feet. Conrad Roncati’s Architectura is architect of record, and occupancy is slated for later this year.



42-60 Crescent Street

10-Story, 40-Unit Condo Building Wraps Up At 42-60 Crescent Street, Long Island City

In September of 2014, work kicked off at 42-60 Crescent Street, in Long Island City, where Rising Developers Group is building a 10-story, 40-condo-unit residential building, with 2,310 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. Dubbed Factory House, the building topped-out in April. Now façade installation is wrapping up and scaffolding is coming down, The Court Square Blog reports. Alfredo Fredericks is the architect of record, and completion is expected later this year.

Work Begins On 19-Story, 60-Unit Residential Building At 153 Remsen Street, Brooklyn Heights

Excavation and piling work has begun at 153 Remsen Street, in Brooklyn Heights, where Quinlan Development Group and Lonicera Partners are developing a 19-story, 60-unit mixed-use building, only a block away from stations served by the N, R, 2, 3, 4 and 5 trains. YIMBY revealed the Perkins Eastman-designed building in February, and 4,575 square feet of retail is planned for the ground floor.
