10 Madison Square West Conversion & Expansion Takes Shape

The expansion and conversion of the 16-story building at 10 Madison Square West, in the Flatiron District, is well under way. The building will eventually stand 23 stories and contain 125 condominiums, as well as commercial retail space. YIMBY covered the project in 2013, and now, A Fine Blog predicts nearly all 125 units are likely in contract. Completion is likely expected by 2016, and Alan Wanzenberg is designing.


125 Borinquen Place

133 Residential Units Still Planned for 125 Borinquen Place in Williamsburg

Grand Residences LLC has filed new applications for a planned seven-story, 133-unit residential building measuring nearly 90,300 square feet at 125 Borinquen Place, in central Williamsburg, that had originally been filed in 2013. A small retail component of a few hundred square feet is also included, and DJLU Architects is designing. The existing single-story structure was approved for demolition in 2013.


207 West 79th Street

Anbau Enterprises Closes on 203 West 79th Street, Plans Condos

Anbau Enterprises has closed on the purchase of the five-story apartment building at 203-209 West 79th Street, on the Upper West Side, for $39 million, reports The Real Deal. The developer will go forward with approved plans for a 13-story mixed-use condominium building, and Morris Adjmi is designing. The site has 104,000 square feet of building potential, and demolition permits were recently submitted to knock down the existing building.
