The site is located along the major residential Queens Boulevard thoroughfare. Eight blocks away is the Roosevelt Avenue subway station, serviced by the 7, E, F, M, and R trains.
The rising skyscraper at 180 East 88th Street is nearing its full height. The tower now stands 27 stories above ground, four short of its eventual apex 31 floors above street level. Once complete, the building will be the tallest on the Upper East Side above 72nd Street. The site is six blocks away from the Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer subway station, end of the line for E, J, and Z trains. Manuel Mayancela of J & D Carrying and Construction Corp is listed as responsible for the development.
An update is out for 259 Clinton Street, one of the skyscrapers planned to rise by One Manhattan Square. A Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) has been published, revealing fresh details of the three proposed Lower East Side towers that include 247 Cherry Street and 260 South Street, and a new rendering for 259 Clinton Street.

A large parking lot-centric commercial center is just five blocks away, but the nearest public transit, the Queens Village train station serviced by the LIRR, is 7 miles away, or a 1-hour commute by bus.
