2128 Ocean Avenue

Nine-Stories, 56 Units Coming to 2126-2130 Ocean Avenue, Madison

Ocean Bay Building Management has filed construction permits, reviving plans filed back in the summer of 2014, for their nine-story, 56-unit mixed-use building at 2126-2130 Ocean Avenue, in Madison (near the southern Midwood border). The building will measure nearly 53,100 square feet and includes a 510 square-foot community facility. Three two-story buildings were recently demolished to make-way for the project, and Building Consulting Engineering is the architect of record.


400 Lenox Avenue

32-Unit Mixed-Use Project Planned for 400 Lenox Avenue, Harlem

Pentacostal Faith Church has filed applications for an eight-story, 32-unit mixed-use building at the vacant corner-lot of 400 Lenox Avenue, in Harlem, at West 130th Street. Within the 31,950 square-foot structure, a religious facility will measure 8,100 square feet, and commercial space will take up another 1,940 square feet; Zambrano Architectural Design is the architect of record, and the site’s three-story predecessor was demolished in 2005.


4023 10th Avenue

10-Unit Mixed-Use Building Planned for 4023 10th Avenue, Borough Park

Lam’s Capital LLC has filed applications for a six-story, 10-unit mixed-use building at 4023 10th Avenue, in northern Borough Park. The structure will measure nearly 14,700 square feet in total; a community health care facility will take up nearly 3,050 square feet, and 2,440 square feet will be designated for retail. Shiming Tam is designing, and the existing three-story structure was approved for demolition in March.


837 52nd Street

10 Residential Units Replacing Four-Unit Building at 837 52nd Street, Sunset Park

Shi Xiong Zhou has filed applications for a six-story, 10-unit mixed-use building at 837 52nd Street, in Sunset Park near 8th Avenue. The new building will measure 11,920 square feet and a daycare center will span 3,030 square feet on the first two floors. Shiming Tam is designing, and permits were filed in March to demolish the existing two-story, four-unit townhouse.
