Plans were filed yesterday to build a seven-story, 38-unit apartment building at 1930 Bedford Avenue between Fenimore and Hawthorne Streets in Prospect Lefferts Gardens.
Applications have been filed for a three-story, three-unit residential building measuring nearly 5,300 square feet at 1448 57th Street, in southern Borough Park. Horia E. Iuonas is the architect of record, and an existing two-story structure must first be removed.
Brownstoner stopped by recently at 247 Bedford Avenue, in Williamsburg, where a multi-level structure is being converted and expanded to accommodate its new retail tenant, Apple. Renderings of the project were revealed by YIMBY earlier this year, and opening is expected this year.
Last July, YIMBY reported on the first permits for a new residential development coming to 236 17th Street, in Brooklyn’s South Slope neighborhood. Now, we have the reveal for the seven-story project thanks to a tipster who spotted an on-site rendering.
