Four-Story, Four-Unit Residential Building Coming to 187 Pulaski Street, Bedford-Stuyvesant

An anonymous Great Neck, N.Y.-based LLC has filed applications for a four-story, four-unit residential project at 187 Pulaski Street, in the heart of Bedford-Stuyvesant. The project will measure 5,018 square feet and its full-floor residential units should average 999 square feet apiece, which means either rentals or condominiums could be in the works. Chelsea-based Grasso Menziuso Architects is the architect of record. The 20-foot-wide, 2,000-square-foot lot is vacant.

Seven-Story, 45,700-Square-Foot Office Building Filed at 31 Spencer Street, Bedford-Stuyvesant

A Brooklyn-based property owner has filed applications for a seven-story, 45,728-square-foot mixed-use commercial building at 31 Spencer Street, located in the northwestern corner of Bedford-Stuyvesant. The 81-foot-tall project will feature a 59-car parking garage on the ground floor, 29,474 square feet of medical office space across the ground-floor mezzanine through fourth floors, and 16,254 square feet of commercial offices on the fifth through seventh floors.



Amusement District

City Launches Request for Proposals for Amusement Park Development Sites, Coney Island

The New York City Economic Development Corporation and the city’s Department of Parks and Recreation have launched a request for proposals (RFP) for five development sites located within the Amusement District between West 10th and 16th streets in Coney Island. The city is seeking a development team to build new attractions, rides and entertainment outlets on the sites, Commercial Observer reported. The five properties, all of which are currently vacant, combine to measure a total 150,000 square feet. Proposals are due March 17 and the city anticipates new attractions on the sites will be open for the summer of 2018.


18 Spencer Street

11-Story, 58,700-Square-Foot Office Building Filed at 18 Spencer Street, Bedford-Stuyvesant

Brooklyn-based Loketch Group has filed applications for an 11-story, 58,662-square-foot mixed-use commercial building at 18 Spencer Street, located in northwestern Bedford-Stuyvesant. There will be 12,313 square feet of office space across the third through fifth floors, followed by 20,696 square feet of medical office space on the sixth through 11th floors. An 80-vehicle parking garage will take up two below-grade floors as well as the first two above-grade floors. Queens-based NY Building Associates Inc. is the applicant of record. The 7,000-square-foot plot enclosed by a single-story gate, which must first be demolished.
