YIMBY Tours Office Floors of One Willoughby Square, in Downtown Brooklyn

YIMBY recently went on a hard hat tour of One Willoughby Square, aka 420 Albee Square in Downtown Brooklyn, which is on track to become the tallest new office building in the borough. The 495-foot-tall building, which will contain 500,000 square feet of Class A office space across 34 stories, is being designed by FXCollaborative and developed by JEMB Realty. Gilbane Development Company is in charge of the construction progress.

Marvel Architects’ 540 Fulton Street Making Vertical Progress in Downtown Brooklyn

Construction of 540 Fulton Street is climbing past the first residential floors. The Downtown Brooklyn project site will stand as a 511-foot- tall, 43-story high, mixed-use skyscraper. It is being designed by Marvel Architects and developed by Jenel Management. The building will yield about 330,000 square feet, with 71,844 square feet allocated to commercial space and 22,054 square feet designated for retail on the lower floors. The remaining 239,142 square feet will be occupied by the residential homes.

As construction continues to proceed at 2155 Caton Avenue in Flatbush, Brooklyn, Z Architecture has released new renderings of the rising residential building. Located on a through lot between Caton Avenue and Lenox Road, the five-story structure will eventually comprise 32,118 square feet of residential area.
