A new rendering has been released for 350 Park Avenue, a proposed 1,350-foot commercial supertall in Midtown East, Manhattan. Designed by Norman Foster of Foster + Partners and developed by Vornado Realty Trust and Rudin Management, the 51-story structure is planned to yield 1.7 million square feet of office space, of which the hedge fund Citadel LLC is slated to occupy roughly 54 percent. The project site is bound by East 52nd Street to the north, East 51st Street to the south, and Park Avenue to the east.

660 Fifth Avenue’s Re-cladding Wraps Up in Midtown, Manhattan

Exterior renovation work is complete on 660 Fifth Avenue, a 39-story commercial tower in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and developed by Brookfield Properties, which purchased the building from Kushner Companies for $1.3 billion in 2018, the $400 million project involves the modernization of the structure’s 1.25 million square feet of office space and full replacement of its mid-century façade with a new glass curtain wall. The overhaul is also expected to achieve LEED Gold certification and a WELL Health Safety rating. Turner Construction Company is the general contractor and Cushman & Wakefield is the exclusive leasing agent for the building, which is located between West 52nd and 53rd Streets and was formerly addressed as 666 Fifth Avenue.

Designed by MdeAS Architects and developed by Vornado Realty Trust, the project involves a full-scale overhaul of the 412-foot-tall structure’s 1.61 million square feet of office space, replacement of its façade with a modern glass curtain wall, and the construction of a multi-story cantilevering volume along Seventh Avenue. GMSLLP is the façade consultant and Turner Construction Company and Skanska are the contractors for the property, which is located between West 31st and West 33rd Streets and a central part of the Penn District revitalization that will transform the area surrounding Penn Station and Madison Square Garden.
