Construction of the concrete core appears to have topped out at 50 Hudson Yards, a 1,011-foot-tall commercial supertall in Hudson Yards and number eight on our countdown of the tallest buildings in progress in the New York metropolitan area. Designed by Norman Foster of Foster + Partners and developed by Related Companies with Oxford Properties, the 58-story skyscraper will yield 2.9 million square feet of office space, making it the largest building by volume in the first phase of the Hudson Yards master plan.

Robert A. M. Stern’s 220 Central Park South Stands Completed in Midtown

The 67-story, $1.4 billion tower is designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects and developed by Vornado Realty Trust, which is projecting a $3.4 billion sellout and has already closed on 118 condominium units. SLCE Architects is the executive architect and Thierry W. Despont is the interior designer of the homes, which span around 593,000 square feet. The site is nestled between Seventh Avenue and Columbus Circle.

Westchester IDA Approves Renovations on Affordable Housing Development in Tuckahoe, NY

A major capital improvement project at Marble Hall Apartments in Tuckahoe, New York, may soon begin following preliminary approvals from Westchester County’s Industrial Development Agency. Constructed in 1974, the 10-story building at 100 Columbus Avenue contains 134 income-restricted units and exhibits signs of an aging property.
