RAMSA’s 3041 Broadway Begins to Rise Above Street Level in Morningside Heights, Manhattan

Construction has reached street level at 3041 Broadway, a 42-story tower designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects in Morningside Heights. Alternately addressed as 100 Claremont Avenue, the 350,000-square-foot project is being developed by L&M Development Partners and Lendlease with SLCE Architects as the architect of record, and will eventually yield condominiums marketed by Lendlease and L+M, and institutional offices, faculty housing, and classrooms for the Union Theological SeminaryBeyer Blinder Belle is handling the renovations of Union Theological Seminary’s Hastings Hall, where students reside. The building is rising by the corner of Claremont Avenue and West 122nd Street with the use of air rights from the seminary, and is directly across from the Riverside Church.

Exterior work is progressing slowly at 30 West 39th Street, a 323-foot-tall hotel tower in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by Peter Poon Architects and developed by Fortuna Realty, the 27-story structure will yield 133,500 square feet and 330 rooms. Leeding Builders Group, LLC is the general contractor for the property, which is located between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, a block south of Bryant Park.
