Community Preservation Partners and L+M Development Partners have revealed a $123 million overhaul of a senior community development know as Norman Towers. Located in East Orange at 500 North Walnut Street, the building contains 406 units of affordable housing and was originally completed in 1980.
Permits have been filed for a four-story mixed-use building at 3081 Emmons Avenue in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. Located between Brown Street and Batchelder Street, the lot is closest to the Sheepshead Bay subway station, serviced by the B and Q trains. Abie Barakat under the 3081 Emmons Avenue LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
OMA’s New York design studio has unveiled renderings of a three-story rooftop addition for Tiffany & Company’s Fifth Avenue flagship. Located at 727 Fifth Avenue in Midtown, Manhattan, the project arrives as the structure’s most comprehensive renovation since completion in 1940.
Façade work is nearing completion at 305 West 48th Street, a 303-foot-tall hotel in Hell’s Kitchen. Designed by Gene Kaufman and developed by Bright Management with Rockwell Group as the interior designer, the structure stands 27 stories and will contain 211 hotel rooms. The project site is located at the corner of West 48th Street and Eighth Avenue, conveniently close to the Times Square and the Theater District.
