Façade work is nearing completion on 550 Clinton Avenue, as the tower crane has been removed from the eastern elevation of the 29-story mixed-use tower in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Hope Street Capital, the 280,000-square-foot project will yield 284 apartments and about 60,000 square feet of retail area. The structure rises from a four-story podium bound by Atlantic Avenue to the south, Clinton Avenue to the east, and Vanderbilt Avenue to the west.
This week, Brooklyn’s Community Board 3 unanimously approved proposals to construct a new mixed-use affordable housing property at 1045 Atlantic Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for Two Blue Slip, aka 41 Blue Slip, a 40-story residential building in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by Park Tower Group and Brookfield Property Partners, the Greenpoint Landing waterfront structure yields 421 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 127 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $81,258 to $192,400.
Full demolition permits have been filed for 534-536 Third Avenue in Murray Hill, Manhattan. Robert Gilardian of Gilar Realty is listed as the owner under the Third Avenue Pavilion Residences LLC. Located at the intersection of Third Avenue and East 36th Street, the 9,875-square-foot site has approximately 99 feet of street frontage.
